From Mar 2011 The Alders Caravan Park will offer a new form of accommodation – glamorous camping in a Pod. Now you can forget those days of soggy tents on cold wet nights with the wind howling around you, the tent flapping about in the wind, having to pack it all away in the morning- now you can camp without the hassle!

The Alders Pod gives you a guaranteed dry place, is insulated with a layer of sheep’s wool for extra warmth on those chillier days and ample ventilation for those long, hot summer days.

The Pod offers you the freedom & ambience of traditional camping whilst giving you a higher level of privacy and security and more comfort both inside & out. Outside there is a decked area at the entrance for dining al fresco, chilling out or if the weather allows-sunbathing! You just need to bring everything you would for camping, apart from the tent

4 person family pods £28 per night Mar, Apr, Sept and Oct and £30 per night May to Aug. (10% discount on any 7 day bookings or mid-week bookings of 3 nights or above.
